Exxelia announces that its SVM production site has obtained AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications
following an audit conducted by DNV Business Assurance USA Inc.
The certification applies to SVM Private Limited, located in Guduvancherry, Tamil Nadu, India, and covers the quality management system for the manufacture and supply of transformers, including RGA 166 kHz and RGA 83 kHz notch inductors, intended for electronic and electromechanical applications.
AS9100D is the reference quality management standard for the aerospace, aviation, and defense industries. It builds on ISO 9001:2015 requirements while introducing additional criteria related to risk management, product safety, configuration management, and traceability. The audit was performed in accordance with AS9104/1:2012 under the Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) scheme.
This certification confirms that the Exxelia SVM site operates in compliance with internationally recognized quality management standards commonly required for aerospace and high-reliability electronics programs, supporting customer requirements in regulated and technically demanding applications.
