ROCHESTER, N.Y., November 29, 2017 — With test and measurement equipment, accuracy and reliability are paramount. NIST, as part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, has defined a national traceable standard for basic and derived measurement quantities, which is essential in ensuring that any measurement can be held accountable for its own precision. Resistors used in this capacity require extremely precise resistor tolerances to ensure long-term reliability and accuracy. For more than 15 years, Ohmcraft’s precision resistors have been used in NIST traceable measurement equipment due to their ultra high ohmic value (up to 10 TeraOhms) and high voltage capabilities.
